Trip to Langkawi Day 1

Langkawi island is located at Kedah, Malaysia. It is one of the duty-free zone in Malaysia. As a student who likes travelling so much, I had asked three of my friends to join me for the trip to Langkawi. We decided to stay at Langkawi for 2 days and a night. We departed from jetty of Kuala Perlis to Pulau Langkawi. It took us almost 1 hour and half to reach there. Once we reached the Kuah (jetty of Langkawi), there were lots of agents who kept on asking us whether we wanted to rent a car or not. As a smart consumer, we must always compare the prices! Eventually, we managed to find an agent who provided us a Viva car for 24 hours but it only cost us for RM50! After filling the car with petrol, we started our journey to Pantai Cenang as we booked our hotel around Pantai Cenang.

Sunset at Pantai Cenang was so astonishing!

I was trying to pinch my friend :)

After that we went for our dinner and we decided to walk along the Pantai Cenang. The beach was clean and there were lots of foreign tourists! They were friendly and they always smiled to us! After having a stroll at Pantai Cenang, we bought some snacks back to hotel. We chatted and laughed so loud like there were no others around us! And the first night ended officially!

Penang Food Hunt

The very first station for the penang food hunt trip
was the famous instant curry mee with
tempting cheese above it!
As a cheese lover like me, I found that the food was extremely delicious. Of course, there were
an egg and some hot dogs served together with the mee!

The stall opens daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
except for Sunday as Sunday is the only rest day!

The stall is located at
9, 7, Gat Lebuh Gereja, Georgetown,
 10200 Pulau Pinang.

The next station was the Caffe Bene
which is originated from Korea!
I tried a big bowl of green tea Bingsu
as it is always the hottest bingsu among the three types.

The bingsu cost me around RM20 but
I found it very tasty and healthy as
the bingsu was sprinkled with almonds, walnuts and peanuts!

These are all the snacks that can provide us with
essential fatty acids and omega-3 fatty acids which
can help us to lower our cholesterol level and
maintain our good health!

The third station would be the
  China House cafe!
We ordered 2 cakes which were Tiramisu and Strawberry Tiramisu respectively!
Both of the cakes tasted so good!
These were surely the best Tiramisu I ever had. The texture of the cakes were extremely wet!
I used to eat cakes which are wet!
The nuts above the cakes were crunchy too!
This would be the best place to have
a slice of good Tiramisu!

The last stop would be the
Piknik Cafe which is located at
 15, Jalan Nagore, 10500
 Georgetown, Penang.
If you wish to make reservation,
you can call 016-452 9250!
Piknik cafe is famous with its waffle!
Of course, I ordered the most signature waffle, that was
Hot Banana Waffle with Vanilla Ice-Cream!
The banana was extremely fresh and tasty.
The waffle itself was soft and delicious.
This was also the most delicious waffle that I ever had in my life!

Working Experiences

Like others, I worked part-time job during the holidays! My first job was a retail assistant in an outlet of the company named Eu Yan Sang which specialises in traditional Chinese medicine. Though, i enjoyed working in Eu Yan Sang outlet at Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam, Penang. At there, i met lots of my peers who are crazy yet intelligent, playful yet responsible and humour.

This is the photo that we took when there was no customers!

I had learned a lot of things from this working experience. I learned how to take care of my personal health. Sometime, I even give suggestions to my friends who are sick! It was indeed a great eye-opener for myself and I REALLY ENJOYED IT!
